Neil has over 20 years industry experience across leading OEMs and lessors.

He joined the SMBC Aero Engine Lease (SAEL) team in 2020 with responsibility for sales and marketing across Europe, Middle East and Africa, originating lease transactions with both airlines and MROs.

SAEL is a dedicated spare engine lessor, focusing on long-term leasing and financing solutions of latest technology aircraft engines for narrowbody and widebody aircraft, with over 100 engines ($1.4B by asset value) in its portfolio.

Prior to joining SMBC, Neil spent 15 years working internationally for engine OEMs Rolls-Royce and IAE, where he supported airlines, lessors and MROs worldwide in roles spanning customer account management, aftermarket services, fleet contract management and MRO network strategies.

Neil graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer with honours from the University of Surrey in 2004.
