Geert Van Damme brings 30 years of aviation experience, with a special focus to aircraft engines (CFM56, LEAP, CF6-80).

In 1993, Geert graduated with a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and started his career in line and base maintenance at Lufthansa Technik Brussels, Belgium.

Five years later, he transitioned to an engine programme management position at Snecma Services Brussels (now called Safran Aircraft Engines). From 2000 to 2013, Geert held both commercial and business development director positions. After this experience in Belgium, he became an MRO sales/engineering support director, and later CFMi sales director ‘Middle East’ at SAFRAN – CFMi sales head office in Villaroche, France.

In 2017, Geert started his own company, providing engine/APU-related services to several companies like Aero-Shield Capital, TurbineAero, Revima, Safran Aircraft Engines.

Today, he accepted the challenge to ensure all commercial strategies and targets are met across the various fields of engine services in the EMEA and Asia regions for CTS Engines, an independent engine MRO specialised in legacy fleet engines.
