Chandy and the team are developing predictive maintenance models for the Eclipse very light jet, with the aim to reduce maintenance downtime, as well as the cost of owning and operating an Eclipse jet.

Chandy has a Master’s degree in aerospace engineering and an engineering Doctorate in tool condition monitoring. She has worked as a research associate and a research fellow in structural health monitoring, and joined Baleen Labs over two years ago to work as a data scientist to spearhead the predictive maintenance capability which they have been developing for Eclipse Aerospace.
