Barry Flynn has been with elfc since 2012 and is currently VP Technical, where he oversees engine asset management and technical operations. His role covers everything from on/off engine lease management and records control to engine shop visit management and logistics and shipping.

Before joining elfc, Barry had roles in Aircraft Asset Technical Management with CAE Parc Aviation and Nordic Aviation Capital.

His aviation journey began in 1990 as an aircraft maintenance technician apprentice with Shannon Aerospace, eventually leading him into aircraft maintenance planning management.

With 35 years’ experience in the aircraft industry, Barry holds an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence and a Higher Diploma in Business Management from the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS).
