Since joining Virgin Atlantic as a B2 apprentice 27 years ago, Rory has enjoyed a deeply technical engineering career, including roles as a B2/B1/C Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Control Engineer and, latterly, Principal Predictive Maintenance Engineer.

He has led in-house initiatives, including tech log NLP clustering. He holds an MSc in Advanced Data Analytics applied to predictive maintenance, driving innovation across the fleet and helping the organisation understand and listen to aircraft when they tell us they’re hurting – before small signals become big problems.
