Amanda joined Delta Air Lines as the first Propulsion Analytics Engineer in 2021. In this role Amanda leverages her expertise in mechanical engineering and data science to bridge the gap between traditional engineering principles and emerging data-driven practices. She has become a driving force in utilizing data to enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability in engine operations.
As an analytics engineer, Amanda is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that monitor and optimize engine performance. Her solutions have successfully identified opportunities for proactive preventive engine maintenance resulting in reduced engine downtime, improved engine performance, and cost savings.
Amanda holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology where she specialized in Energy Systems and Reliability Engineering.
